Spagetti Carbonara with zucchini.

Recipe Ingredients for Spagetti Carbonara

10 oz spaghetti
1 tbls olive oil
1 zucchini
1 onion
1 clove garlic, chopped
6 tbls Real Bacon Bits
1/4 cup Egg beaters
116 g Fat Free Half and Half
1 pepper
4 tbls parmesan
1 tbls chopped parsley

Recipe Directions for Spagetti Carbonara

  1. Cook spaghetti.

  2. while spaghetti is cooking, heat olive oil in large saucepan. Add zucchini, cut in strips, sliced onion, and chopped garlic. Cook about 5 - 7 minutes, or until vegetables are barely cooked.

  3. Scoop about a cup of water from the pasta pot. Drain pasta (when done.) Add hot pasta to saucepan along with Hormel Real Bacon bits. Add enough reserved water (from cooking pasta) to moisten.

  4. Mix egg beaters and half-n-half. Add to saucepan and stir well, adding water as necessary to keep moist.

  5. Serve sprinkled with Parmesan and parsley.
