spaghetti sauce with ground beef.

Recipe Ingredients for Spag Bol

1 pound ground beef
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion
2 pounds tomatoes
1 teaspoon basil
1 teaspoon salt
1 pound dry pasta
1 teaspoon garlic
14 oz mushrooms

Recipe Directions for Spag Bol

  1. Brown beef in pan. Remove to another dish. Add oil to the pan, cook the onions until soft and golden. Add garlic and cook for one more minute. Add tomatoes and cook until they start to separate from the oil. Start the pasta about the time you put the tomatoes in. Perhaps 10 minutes after. Puree with immersion blender. (if you have picky kids that don't want to see onions and tomatoes, anyway)

  2. Add seasonings as desired. Return meat to sauce. Add mushrooms (if canned).
