This is a leaner twist on traditional beef & potato hash. You can also substitute 1 cup of coooked rice for potatoes.

Recipe Ingredients for Southwestern Turkey Hash

1 Green Pepper, chopped
1 cup Onion, chopped
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1 lb Lean Ground Turkey
4 Potatoes, peeled and diced
1 tbsp Chili Powder
16 oz Salsa
1/2 cup Water
1 Cooking Spray

Recipe Directions for Southwestern Turkey Hash

  1. In a non-stick skillet sprayed with cooking spray, brown the turkey.

  2. Then add the bell pepper,onions and garlic.

  3. When onions are translucent, add the chili powder, potatoes, salsa and water.

  4. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer.

  5. Cook for 15-20 minutes, or until potatoes are done.
