Recipe Ingredients for Southwest Veggie Burgers

1 cup Rice, Brown, Long-grain, Cooked
1 cup(172 g) Beans, Black, Mature Seeds
1/4 cup chopped raw Grape Tomatoes
1/4 cup, strips(135 g) Peppers, Sweet, Red
1/4 cup, grated Carrots
1 cup Sweetpotato
4 tablespoon Cilantro
1 tbsp Chili Powder
1 teaspoon Cumin, Ground
3 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
3 tablespoons Nutritional Yeast
2 cloves(9 g) Garlic
1 tsp Sauce, Ready-to-serve, Pepper, Tabasco

Recipe Directions for Southwest Veggie Burgers

  1. Preheat oven to 400F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and stir to mix. Form the mixture into 4 patties. Place patties on the baking sheet and bake, turning once half way through cooking, until browned and slightly crisp on the outside, about 30 minutes.

  2. To freeze the burgers, bake and cool them, then wrap in foil or freezer-safe wrap; unwrap the burgers and reheat them in the microwave, or place them on a parchment-lined pan and bake in a 300F oven until hot, about 25 minutes.
