Recipe Ingredients for Southwest Turkey Burgers

5 Turkey patty
5 deli rolls
1 Pam cooking spray
2 poblano peppers, seeded roasted chopped
1 tomato, chopped
1 cup finely chopped cilantro
1/2 red onion, finely chopped
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 avocado - peeled, pitted, and diced
1 salt and black pepper to taste

Recipe Directions for Southwest Turkey Burgers

  1. Spray a large skillet with non-stick cooking spray, and place over medium-high heat. Roast the chopped poblano peppers.

  2. Place in a large bowl.

  3. Stir the tomatoes, cilantro, onion, garlic, and jalapeno peppers into the poblano.

  4. Stir in the lemon juice, and avocado lightly so not to mush avocado. Season with salt & pepper to taste.

  5. Cover bowl with foil to keep in heat

  6. Cook burger patties

  7. Serve veggie mixture over burger!
