Recipe Ingredients for Southwest quinoa burgers

1 cup Quinoa
1 cup dry bread crumbs
388 g black beans, rinsed
1 medium potato, cooked
1/2 onion, chopped 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp chili powder
1 dash cayenne

Recipe Directions for Southwest quinoa burgers

  1. Cook potato til fork tender.

  2. Except quinoa and bread crumbs, put all ingredients in food processor.

  3. Add quinoa and crumbs, pulsing briefly enough to mix.

  4. Refrigerate ~1 hour to make easier to handle.

  5. Hand patty into 10-12 burgers.

  6. Bake 18-22 min at 350F
