Recipe Ingredients for Southwest Chili

2 pounds ground beef
1 1/2 cups diced onion
28 ounce whole tomatoes, chopped, juice reserved
15 ounce pinto beans, rinsed and drained
16 ounce whole kernel corn, drained
1 cup picante sauce
3/4 cup water
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon Shredded Cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for Southwest Chili

In skillet, brown beef and onions. Drain any excess fat. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Simmer, covered, for 15-20 minutes. Garnish with shredded cheddar cheese, if desired.
