Recipe Ingredients for Southern Greens side dish

1 pound Southern Greens Blend
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup scallions, chopped
1 tablespoons oil, olive
1 cup vegetable broth
1 cup tomato sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Southern Greens side dish

  1. Saute garlic and onion in olive oil in a pot large enough to hold greens.

  2. Add vegetable broth and tomato sauce (or juicje)

  3. Bring to a boil.

  4. Adds greens and seasonings.

  5. Cover and cook over low heat for 35 minutes or until tender.

  6. Can sprkinle with parmesan cheese if desired, for extra calories.
