french toast w/ bananas and syrup

Recipe Ingredients for Southern french toast

2 medium banana
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/4 cup 2% milk
6 slices bread
1/2 cup maple syrup

Recipe Directions for Southern french toast

  1. Mix eggs, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, & vanilla in large bowl.

  2. Dip slice of bread in batter, flipping over & letting each side soak for a few seconds.

  3. Place a slices of bread at a time into the frying pan or on griddle and cook until each side golden brown, approximately 2 to 3 minutes per side

  4. Slice up 2 bananas and spread evenly on top each slice.

  5. Add syrup to taste.
