Recipe Ingredients for South of the Border

1 egg
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 pound ground beef
16 ounces picante sauce
15 1/4 ounces corn, canned and drained
15 ounces black beans, rinsed and drained
14 1/2 ounces tomatoes, canned, diced, undrained
1 1/4 cups water

Recipe Directions for South of the Border

  1. In bowl combine first fout ingredients, Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls

  2. In large saucepan brown meatballs. Add the picante sauce, corn, beans, tomatoes, and water. Bring to a boil then reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes until meat is no longer pink
