Recipe Ingredients for Sourdough whole wheat bread - zlorfik

675 g whole wheat flour
50 g rye flour
300 ml water
2 tsp yeast
15 ml salt

Recipe Directions for Sourdough whole wheat bread - zlorfik

  1. The sourdough starter was made in advance by mixing rye flour and water over 5 days in 3:5 flour:water proportions and yeast, leaving it on the countertop.

  2. Mix 100g of sourdough starter (accounted for with rye and water) with other ingredients.

  3. Knead 15 minutes.

  4. Let rise for 8-10 hours, then shape in a loaf, let rise 3-4 hours.

  5. Bake at 375 40 minutes.
