Start the night before, eat in the morning!

Recipe Ingredients for Sourdough Griddlecakes

1 tbl yeast
2 cups water (warm)
2 cups wheat flour, whole grain
1 tsp salt
1 tbl honey
1 egg
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tbl water

Recipe Directions for Sourdough Griddlecakes

  1. In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast into 2 cups of warm water.

  2. Beat in the flour.

  3. Let sit over night at room temperature.

  4. In the morning dissolve the baking powder into a tablespoon of water.

  5. Beat the rest of the ingredients into the large bowl.

  6. Fry as normal pancakes.
