Recipe Ingredients for Sour Cream Apple Tart

4 tablespoons butter
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided
1 1/3 cup low fat sour cream
3/4 cup sugar, divided
1/2 cup all-purpose flour, divided
1/2 cup egg beaters
3 large apples, peeled and sliced thin

Recipe Directions for Sour Cream Apple Tart

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Melt 2 tablespoon butter. Add in graham crackers and 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Mix well.

  3. Press into the bottom of a 9 inch tart pan. Bake for 10 minutes.

  4. Combine sour cream, 1/2 cup sugar, 3 tablespoons flour in large bowl and whisk well. Beat in egg substitute.

  5. Put sliced apples on top of graham cracker crust. Pour custard mixture over the top. Bake for 35 minutes, or until center is set.

  6. Combine the remaining 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 cup sugar and 6 tablespoons flour in a small bowl. Cut in the last 2 tablespoons of butter until mixture looks like crumbs.

  7. Sprinkle that mixture over the top of the custard, broil for 3 - 4 minutes. Remove from oven. Let set 15 minutes before cutting.
