Recipe Ingredients for Soup - Ruben

1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
1 cup chicken broth
2 cup beef broth
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
1 cup sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
2 cups half and half
16 oz corned beef, cooked and chopped
1 cup swiss cheese, shredded

Recipe Directions for Soup - Ruben

  1. Saute onion and celery in olive oil

  2. When soft, add chicken and beef broth

  3. Stir in the soda

  4. Mix cornstarch with the water.

  5. Add and stir until thickened.

  6. Add Half and half, stir and do not boil.

  7. Add cheese, stir until melted

  8. Add meat and sauerkraut

  9. Heat to serving temperature
