Recipe Ingredients for Sotanghon Guisado

8 ounces shrimp
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1 small onion, sliced
2 1/2 cups chicken stock
1/4 cup celery, sliced
1/2 cup cabbage
2 carrots, shredded
1 cup string bean
6 ounces vermicelli (bean)
2 tablespoons fish sauce (patis)

Recipe Directions for Sotanghon Guisado

  1. soften noodles in water

  2. saute garlic with vegetables

  3. add noodles

  4. add chicken stock

  5. add fish sauce

  6. continue cooking until most of the broth has evaporated
