Hamburger mushroom gravy over potatoes.

Recipe Ingredients for SOS

3 serving ( 3 oz ) Beef, Ground, 85% Lean Meat / 15% Fat, Crumbles
5 cup Cream of Mushroom Soup
4 oz Sour Cream
0.25 cup Milk, Nonfat, Fluid
4 large (3" to 4-1/4" dia.) Potatoes, Boiled

Recipe Directions for SOS

  1. Peel and rinse potatoes, cut in half, boil until tender, set aside.

  2. Brown hamburger in a large skillet. Drain hamburger of all grease.

  3. Wipe pan clean of all residual grease. Return hamburger to pan.

  4. Add all remaining ingredients except potatoes to skillet. Stir until well blended.

  5. Add garlic and onion powder as well as salt and pepper to taste.

  6. For a bit of extra zing add creole seasoning and/or Worcestershire sauce to taste.

  7. Place one half potato on a plate or bowl and scoop one cup of the gravy mixture on top. Enjoy!
