yummy banana bread for those of us who have to cook without nuts in quick breads. Not low on calories, but great on taste!

Recipe Ingredients for Sonia's chocolate chip banana bread

1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour (can sub 1:1 with spelt)
3/8 cups sugar
3/8 cups brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 cup banana
1/8 cup butter
3/8 cup applesauce
3/4 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Sonia's chocolate chip banana bread

  1. Mix dry, then wet in separate bowls. lightly fork wet into dry so as not to overmix, (biscuit method).

  2. Bake 350 for 45-50 minutes
