Spiced Chai made from reduced fat milk.

Recipe Ingredients for Sona's Adraki Chai

2 cups 1 % milk
2 cup water
1 teaspoon black tea
3 tea bags
1 teaspoon ginger powder
1 teaspoon cardamom
1 teaspoon fennel seeds
1 pinch cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Sona's Adraki Chai

  1. Put cold water in the pot.

  2. Add loose tea, tea bags, fennel, ginger, cardamom and cinnamon.

  3. Bring the spiced liquid to a rolling boil.

  4. Add cold milk, return to heat.

  5. Bring the liquid to a boil again. It should turn a golden chai color.

  6. Strain and serve the chai, using Equal or Splenda to taste to sweeten.

  7. Enjoy.
