Simple baking powder biscuits nicknamed "soggies"

Recipe Ingredients for Soggies

2 c flour
2 1/2 tablespoons Sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 tablespoons shortening
3/4 c milk

Recipe Directions for Soggies

  1. mix dry ingredients. cut in shortening. add milk. Mixture will be stiff, more milk can be added for fluffier biscuits.

  2. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet

  3. Bake at 425 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
