Recipe Ingredients for Soft Granola Bars

2/3 cup honey
1/2 cup canola oil
2 cups oats
1/4 cup flax seed meal
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
3/4 cup dried pineapple, chopped
3/4 cup dried cranberries, chopped
1/3 cup banana chips, chopped
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup applesauce

Recipe Directions for Soft Granola Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Cream honey and vegetable oil together in large mixing bowl.

  3. Combine all remaining ingredients, except vanilla and applesauce.

  4. Add all ingredients to honey and oil.

  5. Mix well.

  6. Press into a well-greased 9x13 inch pan.

  7. Bake for about 35 minutes until golden brown on top.

  8. Let cool, then cut with a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
