Recipe Ingredients for Soft & Chewy Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies

1 package devil's food cake mix
4 oz fat free cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1 large eggs

Recipe Directions for Soft & Chewy Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies

  1. PREHEAT oven to 375F.

  2. Place all ingredients in large bowl. Beat with electric mixer on low speed 2 min. Beat on medium speed an additional 2 min. or until well blended.

  3. SHAPE into 42 1-inch balls. Place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheets. Flatten each ball, in criss-cross pattern, with tines of fork.

  4. BAKE 7 to 8 min. or until edges of cookies are set. Cool 2 min. on baking sheets. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.

  5. Makes 45 cookies

  6. Notes: I'll be trying the reduced sugar devil's food cake mix from Pillsbury which should lower cals. Subbing egg beaters would reduce cals as well. Eventually will try adding white chocolate, peanut butter, or butterscotch mini chips.
