Recipe Ingredients for sofrito

1 sweet onion
2 sweet green peppers
10 garlic cloves
1/2 cup cilantro
2 plum tomatoes
1/2 large red bell pepper

Recipe Directions for sofrito

  1. place onion and peppers in food processor

  2. pulse until coarsely chopped

  3. with motor running, add remaining ingredients,1 at a time

  4. process until smooth

  5. keep in fridge forup to 3 days or freeze
