Recipe Ingredients for Socca (Farinata)

1 cup chickpea flour
1 cup water
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Recipe Directions for Socca (Farinata)

  1. Preheat oven to 450F. Put cast iron frying pan into the oven.

  2. Combine all ingredients. Allow to sit for 15 minutes or even some hours. Pour into preheated cast iron frying pan. Check after 12 - 15 minutes. Put under broiler to brown the top.
