From food network. Delicious vegetable side dish. Can be made with either snow peas or sugar snap peas!

Recipe Ingredients for Snow or Snap Peas with Orange Liqueur

1 cup water
1 teaspoon sugar
27 ounce frozen sugar snap peas or snow peas
8 ounce sliced water chestnuts, drained
1/4 cup triple sec
5 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint leaves
1 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for Snow or Snap Peas with Orange Liqueur

  1. Bring 1 cup of water to a boil and add the sugar.

  2. Drop in the snow peas and cook until barely tender, drain, and return to pan.

  3. Add the water chestnuts, orange liqueur, butter, mint, and salt.

  4. Cook over medium-low heat until heated through.
