These are great, especially for people who don't eat chocolate. One serving is 2 cookies.

Recipe Ingredients for Snickerdoodles

3 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tbsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 cup unsalted butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp light corn syrup
2 1/2 tsp vanilla

Recipe Directions for Snickerdoodles

  1. Mix 3 tbsp sugar and 1/2 tsp sugar together in small bowl, set aside.

  2. Mix dry ingredients in medium bowl.

  3. Cream butter with electric mixer.

  4. Add sugar to butter and beat well.

  5. Add eggs, corn syrup, and vanilla and beat well.

  6. Gradually add dry mix to wet.

  7. Chill 1 hour if dough is too sticky to handle.

  8. Mix c

  9. Form into walnut-sized balls and roll in cinnamon sugar mixture.

  10. Place on ungreased baking sheet about 2 inches apart, cookies will spread.

  11. Bake at 375 F for 10-12 minutes, until cookies appear "cracked" on the surface and are just starting to change color on the edges.
