Green and/or yellow beans in milk gravy, with sauteed mushrooms.

Recipe Ingredients for Snap Beans in Mushroom Gravy

16 oz green beans, and/or yellow string beans
16 oz milk
8 oz button mushrooms, chopped
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoons butter

Recipe Directions for Snap Beans in Mushroom Gravy

  1. Clean fresh garden beans, cut, steam 2 min.

  2. Saute mushrooms in butter.

  3. Blend cornstarch, with cold milk.

  4. Add to mushroom pan.

  5. Heat to simmer and cook 1 min, until thick.

  6. Pour over steamed beans.
