Recipe Ingredients for Smothered Okra

1/2 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup green sweet pepper, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter
2 cups okra, frozen cut, thawed
2 cups tomato, chopped & peeled
1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for Smothered Okra

Saute first 4 ingredients until tender. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Cover and simmer until tender & heated through.
