a mixture of greens and seasonings

Recipe Ingredients for smothered greens

3 cup water
1/4 lb smoked turkey breast, skinnless
1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp cloves, ground
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp thyme
1 scallion, chopped
1 tsp ginger, ground
1/4 cup of onion
2 lbs kale

Recipe Directions for smothered greens

  1. place ingredients in a saucepan and boil

  2. wash greens and remove stems

  3. slice greens into bite size pieces

  4. add greens to stock
