Recipe Ingredients for Smooth Vegetable Soup

4 cups frozen carrots, califlower, broccoli
4 cups water
4 chicken bouillon cubes
2 T italian seasoning
1 t onion powder
1 t garlic powder

Recipe Directions for Smooth Vegetable Soup

  1. Put all ingredients in soup pot. Cook on "high" until water boils.

  2. Turn heat down to "simmer". Cook until the vegetables are very soft.

  3. Transfer vegetables to blender.

  4. Add the broth to the blender, but be careful not to add too much. Too much broth makes the soup watery. Too little broth makes the soup too thick.

  5. Blend until all ingredients are thorougly pureed.

  6. Transfer soup to small crock pot. You can correct the seasonings, add more broth, etc. in the crock pot.

  7. Cook on Low for about 4 hours. Then turn the knob to Warm until ready to serve.
