Egg Casserole that is a Smith family favorite!

Recipe Ingredients for Smith Mountain Lake Breakfast

6 eggs Egg, Scrambled
6 slice Whitewheat Sliced Bread
1 serving Ground Mustard Spice
1 serving Cream of Tartar Powder
16 oz Pork Sausage, Fresh
2 cup Milk, Lowfat, Fluid, 1% Milkfat
8 oz 50% Light Cheddar

Recipe Directions for Smith Mountain Lake Breakfast

  1. Brown the sausage, drain.

  2. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and pour into a 13x9 lightly oiled baking dish.

  3. (Refrigerate overnight. We do skip refrigerating it sometimes if we are in a hurry to eat it.)

  4. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove the tinfoil and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
