Spicy tomatoes, macaroni and ground beef dish.

Recipe Ingredients for Slumgulium

30 oz tomato sauce
30 oz diced tomatoes
1 lbs ground beef
1 1/2 cup cooked elbow macaroni
1 garlic clove, diced
1/4 onion, chopped
1 T chili powder
1 t onion powder
1 t garlic powder
1 t cayenne powder

Recipe Directions for Slumgulium

  1. Cook pasta until a little short of done and drain.

  2. Meanwhile, saute onions and garlic in a skillet until translucent, set aside.

  3. Add the ground meat to the skillet and season with a small pinch of salt and pepper, cook until brown.

  4. Drain the fat from the meat.

  5. Pour the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, pasta, ground meat, onions and seasonings into a large soup pot and bring to a boil.

  6. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes.

  7. Serve with rolls, grated cheese and a salad for a complete meal.
