Recipe Ingredients for Slow Roasted Tomatoes

1 cup plum tomatoes, halved
4 garlic cloves, unpeeled
2 tbsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for Slow Roasted Tomatoes

  1. 1. Halve plum tomatoes, arrange cut side up on parchment paper covered cookie sheet.

  2. 2. Toss garlic cloves on the sheet.

  3. 3. Sprinkle with olive oil, then a bit of salt and pepper.

  4. 4. Put in oven, heat to 225. No need to preheat.

  5. 5. Cook 2 to 3 hours, or until they are shrunk, but still moist.

  6. 6. Eat as a snack, on pizzas, etc. Or keep in the fridge, covered with olive oil up to one week.
