Homemade slow cooker chili with beans and a touch of wine.

Recipe Ingredients for Slow Cooker Turkey-Beef Chili

1 lb Lean Ground Beef
1 lb Ground Turkey
1 cup cooked Navy beans
1 medium onion, diced
1 small green pepper, diced
28 oz Crushed Tomatoes
1/4 cup dry white wine
1 tbs Olive Oil
4 tbs Chili Powder
1 dash garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1 dash Ground Black Pepper

Recipe Directions for Slow Cooker Turkey-Beef Chili

  1. Saute diced onion, green pepper and garlic powder in olive oil until just tender. Add turkey & beef, sprinkle with salt, pepper and saute until browned. When meat is brown, add chili powder and stir.

  2. Pour mixture into slow cooker then add cooked beans, crushed tomatoes and white wine. Add water as needed.

  3. Cook on low for 8 hours.

  4. Serving size = 1 cup
