Slow cooker spaghetti sauce. Adding pork loin roast is optional, I use this recipe as a way to use up leftovers from roasts or clean out my freezer. Chicken, beef, or pork all work equally well, or you can just leave them out.

Recipe Ingredients for Slow Cooker Spaghetti Sauce

3 cups diced tomatoes (1 large can)
1 large onion, diced
1 medium bell pepper, diced
8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 links Jennie-O Turkey Store Turkey Sweet Italian
6 ounces pork loin roast (pre-cooked), diced

Recipe Directions for Slow Cooker Spaghetti Sauce

  1. Remove casings from sausage links and brown meat. Drain and add to slow cooker.

  2. Combine remaining ingredients in slow cooker and add spices to taste. Mix well.

  3. Cover and cook on low 6 - 8 hours or until cooked to your liking.
