Not very quick - but VERY easy.

Recipe Ingredients for Slow Cooker Refried Beans- w/ no refrying necessary

2 cups dried pinto beans
1 medium onion
4 garlic cloves
3 jalapeno peppers
1 tsp salt
6 cups water

Recipe Directions for Slow Cooker Refried Beans- w/ no refrying necessary

  1. - rinse and sort dried beans

  2. - quarter onions, mince garlic, seed & mince jalapeno peppers

  3. - add all prepped ingredients & salt to crock pot- pour in water

  4. - cover and cook on high heat for 7-8 hrs

  5. - once cooked as prefered, drain beans, reserving liquid

  6. - mash beans and re-add liquid to desired texture

  7. - top w/ queso fresco, fresh cilantro & chopped scalions
