A healthier chili - use brown rice

Recipe Ingredients for Slow Cooker Fire Hot Chili

2 pounds ground turkey
1 onion chopped
1/2 red bell pepper
1/2 yellow bell pepper
2 tablespoons jalepeno peppers
6 garlic cloves
15 1/2 ounces Del Monte diced tomatoes
15 1/2 ounces tomato sauce
2 cups brown rice

Recipe Directions for Slow Cooker Fire Hot Chili

  1. Cook rice (per package instructions), set side

  2. Brown ground turkey in large skillet

  3. Add onions and 1/2 garlic to ground turkey

  4. Pour all ingredients into slow cooker

  5. Cook on low for 6 - 7 hours (or on high for 3-4 hours)

  6. Serve over brown rice
