710 g boneless skinless chicken thighs
1 medium red bell pepper, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup mushrooms, quartered
22 oz marinara sauce
3 tbsp tomato paste
1/2 cup water
1 tsp italian seasoning
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Slow Cooker Easy Italian Chicken - sept2011

  1. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker, stir gently.

  2. Cover, cook on Low 6 - 8 hours or until chicken is tender.

  3. Shred chicken if desired

  4. Serve with pasta
