Low sodium Chicken and rice done in a slow cooker.

Recipe Ingredients for Slow cooker Chicken & Rice

2 cup, chopped Onions
2 cup, pieces or slices Mushrooms
5.256 oz Peppers, Sweet, Red
3 serving Rice, brown (No name)
5 serving Rice, converted (Uncle Ben's)
560 grams Chicken breast, meat only (Blue Menu)
2 serving chicken broth, no salt added (Blue Menu)
3.184 serving Blue Menu Diced Tomatoes no salt added

Recipe Directions for Slow cooker Chicken & Rice

  1. Layer onion, mushrooms, green pepper, rie and chicken in 6 quart slow cooker.

  2. Sitr broth and tomatoes together and pour over chicken. Cover. Cook on Low for 6 to 7 hours or on Hig for 3 to 3.5 hours. Stir before serving. Makes 14 cups.
