Recipe Ingredients for Slow cooker Chicken N' Dressing

2 cans (15 oz) broth, chicken, low sodium
3 eggs
1 tbsp vinegar
16 ounces chicken breast ( 4-4 ounce )
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup celery, chopped
1/4 cup oil
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp sage
1 tsp poultry seasoning
2 cups white bread, day old
48 ounces corn bread, crumbled (6 cups)

Recipe Directions for Slow cooker Chicken N' Dressing

  1. Stew chicken till done.

  2. Cook the onion and celery until tender in oil.

  3. Add salt, sage and poultry seasonings.

  4. Combine the breads in large mixing bowl.

  5. Sir in cooked onion, celery, salt, sage and poultry seasonings.

  6. In a small bowl, combine soup, broth, eggs, and vinegar.

  7. Combine other ingredients in large bowl and mix well.

  8. Pour into Slow cooker and cook on high for 30 minutes.

  9. Turn down to low and cook 3-4 hours.

  10. After 1 hour before done, add broken pieces of chicken.
