Slow Cooker version of the national dish of Mexico.

Recipe Ingredients for Slow Cooker Chicken Mole

7 ounces canned tomatoes with green chiles
1/4 cup chopped onions
1/8 cup slivered almonds, toasted
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 1/2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tbsp raisins
1/2 tbsp sesame seeds
1/2 tbsp splenda
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp ground coriander
1/4 tsp salt
1 lb skinless, boneless chicken thighs

Recipe Directions for Slow Cooker Chicken Mole

  1. Put all ingredients except chicken in blender or food processor and puree coarsely.

  2. Place the chicken in your slow cooker. Pour the sauce over it. Cover the cooker, set it to low and let cook for 7 to 9 hours.

  3. Good over steamed spaghetti squash.
