Chicken breasts and refrigerated biscuit dough cook in the crock pot

Recipe Ingredients for Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

28 oz chicken breast
1 tablespoon butter
26 oz condensed cream of chicken soup
20 oz chicken broth (optional)
20 oz water
9 oz biscuits

Recipe Directions for Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

  1. Place chicken, butter, and cream of chicken soup in crock pot. Add any additional seasonings. Fill with enough chicken broth OR water to cover.

  2. Cook on high in crock pot 5 to 6 hours. 30 minutes before serving, tear biscuit dough into small pieces and place in crock pot. Make sure dough is covered by liquid and cook until dough is no longer raw in center (about 30 minutes)
