Recipe Ingredients for slow cooker black beans

16 oz dried black beans
12 oz tomatoes, diced, canned
4 cups chicken broth
2 cups water
2 tbsp dried minced onion

Recipe Directions for slow cooker black beans

  1. rinse beans

  2. add to slow cooker with the rest of the ingredients. Salt to taste, may add hot sauce if desired.

  3. cook on high heat all day until beans are tender.

  4. refrigerate if desired to enjoy all week. Good source of low fat protein!
