Recipe Ingredients for slow Cooker Black Bean Chili

4 1/2 cups black beans, drained (2 19 oz cans)
72 oz diced tomatoes, drained (1 1/2 48 oz cans)
1 cup corn
1 onion, chopped (called for 1 bunch scallions)
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tbs chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
8 tbs fat free sour cream

Recipe Directions for slow Cooker Black Bean Chili

  1. In a 6-quart slow cooker, combine the beans, tomatoes, corn, scallions, garlic, chili powder, cumin, cocoa powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3 to 4 hours on high.

  2. Garnish each serving with sour cream. Serve with tortilla chips, if using.
