The counter couldn't find Uncle Ben's Long Grain & Wild Rice Original Recipe, so I had to fudge it.

Recipe Ingredients for Slow cooker Beef with wild rice & vegetables

1 1/2 pounds stew beef
20 baby carrots
1 large onion, cut into chunks
1/4 cup wild rice
3/4 cup long grain rice
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp parsley
2 1/4 cups water
1 tbsp vegetable oil

Recipe Directions for Slow cooker Beef with wild rice & vegetables

In a slow cooker, put the Uncle Ben's rice in first. Using the seasoning packet, water, and oil, mix it all in a separate bowl. Hold for later. Put the carrots on top the rice in the cooker, then beef on top. Spread the onion chunks over the beef. Dump the withheld prepped seasoning mix over the top. Cook in cooker on high for 4-5 hours.
