A warm flavoursome beef and vegtable soup cooked in a slow cooker.

Recipe Ingredients for Slow Cooker Beef & Vegetable Soup

900 g Stewing beef, cubed
400 g Chicken breasts, deboned, cubed
1 tsp salt
1 Garlic clove, minced
6 tbsp Barley
3 large carrots, chopped
2 medium potatoes, diced
3 Celery stalks
1 Turnip, chopped
1 cup chopped cabbage
1/2 cup Peas
3 l water
1/2 cup Corn
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Recipe Directions for Slow Cooker Beef & Vegetable Soup

Put the beef and chicken into a slow cooker. Add salt, pepper, barley, carrots, potatoes, celery, turnip. peas water. Cover and cook on Low for 10-12 hours. Add the remining vegetables and seasoning. Cover and cook on high 30-45 minutes.
