I would have used Diet Coke instead, but didn't have any on hand.

Recipe Ingredients for Slow Cooker Bacon and Cola Roast Beef

12 ounces Coke
3 pounds chuck roast
64 g Beefy Onion Recipe Secrets Recipe Soup and Dip Mix
1/3 pound turkey bacon
10 1/2 ounces healthy request cream of chicken soup
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 tablespoon water

Recipe Directions for Slow Cooker Bacon and Cola Roast Beef

  1. Empty the Coke in slow cooker and set to low setting.

  2. Place roast in with the Coke.

  3. Sprinkle soup mix on top of the roast.

  4. Cook bacon to crisp, then crumble and spread on top of the roast and soup mix.

  5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.

  6. An hour before serving, prepare the gravy.

  7. Remove roast from slow cooker and set aside.

  8. Add cream of chicken soup and whisk until smooth.

  9. Mix the cornstarch with cold water, then add to the slow cooker and whisk to thicken.

  10. Return roast to slow cooker.

  11. Serve with gravy over mashed potatoes or on a Pepperidge Farm 100% Whole Wheat Hoagie Roll with homemade microwave potato chips.
