Recipe Ingredients for Slow cooked chilli beef

200 g Beef
300 g baby potatoes
1 small onion diced
1 carrot (diced)
1 tspn garlic
1/2 red chilli pepper
1 tspn ginger
1 tspn cumin
1 tspn garam masala
1/2 cup red wine
1 stock cube (beef)
2 cups water
1 tbspn olive oil

Recipe Directions for Slow cooked chilli beef

  1. heat oil in heavy based casserole dish - add onions, carrot, garlic, ginger, chilli, ginger and cumin, cook for a couple of minutes till onion starts to soften.

  2. add meat and turn off heat - add potatoes water, stock cube and red wine - place in a very low oven (120c) for 1.5 hours

  3. serve with some freshly steamed greens
