This is a great crockpot chicken recipe. I set it up in the morning before work, and when I come home, there's a hot savory chicken meal ready for me.

Recipe Ingredients for Slow Cooked Chicken in Mushroom Gravy

1 lb carrots, cut
6 medium yellow onions, quartered
4 lb chicken breast
1 lb mushrooms, sliced
3 cups sherry wine
3 cans mushroom soup

Recipe Directions for Slow Cooked Chicken in Mushroom Gravy

  1. Place quartered onions and cut carrots on the bottom of crockpot.

  2. Place chicken breasts on top.

  3. Mix chicken soup and sherry to make the gravy. Pour this on top, covering the whole mix.

  4. Place sliced mushrooms on top.

  5. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
