Recipe Ingredients for Sloppy Joes

1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped carrots
2 tbsp minced garlic
2 tsp onion powder
1 lb Ground Beef
1/4 cup ketchup
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
8 oz no-salt-added tomato sauce
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp ground red pepper

Recipe Directions for Sloppy Joes

Heat large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over med-high heat. Add bell pepper, carrots, & garlic. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Add beef and onion powder. Cook, stirring, until beef begins to brown. Add ketchup, worcestershire sauce, tomato sauce, cumin, and red pepper. Reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until thick. Serve on hamburger buns (will add to calories.)
