Recipe Ingredients for Sloppy Joes (Kirkland Ground Turkey)

4 serving kirkland ground turkey
1 onion, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2 tbsp chili powder
2 cups kidney beans, cooked, drained, rinsed
3 cups Petite Diced Tomatoes - No Salt
1/4 cup oats, large flake

Recipe Directions for Sloppy Joes (Kirkland Ground Turkey)

  1. Cook beef in large deep skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat about 8 minutes. Add onion, garlic, green (and jalepeno if using) peppers and cook 5 minutes. Add tomatoes, beans, oats, chili powder (and Worchestershire sauce, if using). Bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally or until thickened.

  2. Scoop sloppy joe mixture into pita halves and top with lettuce and tomato.
